Obituary of James Brian Alexander Williams

Williams, James Brian Alexander (Jim, Jimmy) October 27 1953 ~ January 13 2017 Jim passed away at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, on Friday January 13th, 2017 at the age of 63, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 41 years to Jan Williams (nee Lawrie). Loving father to Lindsay and Brad. Cherished brother of Wanda “Red” Cummins (Bob) of Ottawa, and the late Fred Williams (Pat). Jim will be missed by his nieces and nephews (Joseph, Matthew). He will be missed as a brother in law and father in law. Known for his quick wit and charm, Jim was quick to laughter and always ready to share an amusing story. An avid golfer, fisher, snowmobiler, and boating enthusiast. Jim would spend as much time as possible with his family, boating or playing a weekly round of golf with his long time friends. He will be missed by all of those who had a chance to know him. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club 1151 Hurlwood Lane Orillia on Thursday January 26th from 1 to 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to any of the following: Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital Cardiopulmonary Rehab Department, or St. Michael’s Hospital Trauma/Neurology ICU.
