Uncle Bill you have left a big void in our every day. We miss playing kings in the corner when mom and i visited . You were so sharp never missed a move. We enjoyed meeting your many room mates you had through the time in the hospital. Thank you Lorraine for being a helping hand and a friendly voice and company for uncle Bill in times between our visits. He loved listening to the old country tunes. Thanks so much to Dr. Italiano and Dr. Stewart for the amazing care. Thank you to the staff in the physio therapy dept, for your daily encouragements while uncle Bill worked so hard to get strong enough to get home. Go now uncle Billl and enjoy eternity with aunt Mary. Where both of you are pain and illness free. You will be missed by your family on aunt Marys side also. Keep cheering on those blue jays and the leafs. You can now attend every game! Love you lots go now in peace , you will never be fully gone as ypu will live in our hearts and memories. Please say hello to all our family up there!. I can hear you all laughing telling stories. Bye for now Love Tammie and family, Allan and family and Bonnie

My name is Lorraine. My husband Roland shared the 4th. floor room with Bill at Soldiers for nearly 2 weeks. Every day I had the pleasure of greeting Bill when I arrived and saying goodbye when I left. On many occasions I offered Bill a helping hand or a gentle reminder of calling for the nurses when he needed something. I got to know Bonnie and Tammy, and commend them for the care they gave Bill over his last weeks (and likely prior). Bill was a gentle man, soft spoken and polite. I wish I had known him sooner. He has left an everlasting impression on me, and I will never forget him. RIP Bill, you put up a strong fight and will be missed - God Bless.
