Dear Joan, Please accept Maryellen and my condolences on the recent passing of your husband Willard on behalf of the extended Murphy family of Brechin. As you know, through my uncle Don Murphy who worked with Bill at Miller Paving, we spent many hunting seasons with Bill at his father Harvey's hunt camp in Golden Valley. One year, Bill, Don and Leonard Kennedy came to my parent's home in London, ON, in the big red Dodge, en route home from a raucous holiday in Florida and Cuba. They regaled us with stories of the trip, some just barely edited for a young audience. I will always remember Willard with a smile, both his and mine. In sympathy, Richard & Maryellen Corcelli

I worked alongside Bill at Miller Paving back in 58 or 59 and recall how he and Leonard Kennedy would buy those matching red and white Dodge Royal cars and then our paths crossed again many years later in Zeypherhills Florida at a musical event not far from where he and Joan had their winter home. Bill knew everyone who played a musical instrument at the event and everyone knew Bill. He loved his music. RIP Bill
