CELEBRATION OF LIFE


Passed peacefully at Oak Terrace Long Term Care Home, Orillia on Tuesday December 31st, 2024, at the age of 68. Born in Penetanguishene Ontario, predeceased by her parents Ellis and Sylvia Booth. Loving mother of Greg (Lynn), Jason, and Melanie. Proud grandmother of Jessica (Tyler), Christopher, Brittany, Dakota, Jacob, Deacon, Jorja and Braeden. Cherished great grandmother of Skylar, Noah, Scarlett, and Nathan. Dear sister of Linda (Ron-predeceased), Norm, Wendy (Richard), Gord, Wayne, and Sharon.


Joy lived up to her name, she was a bright spot in everyone’s day, always providing a warm smile and kindness. She kept everyone on their toes with her quick wit and an amazing sense of humour, sometimes a little off colour… but always with good intentions and fun. Joy will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends and just everyone who she ever crossed paths with. Inurnment will be held at St. Andrew’s-St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia on Friday June 27th 2025 at 1.00 pm, followed by a lunch and celebration of life service to follow at Boston Pizza, 3300 Monarch Dr in Orillia Ontario.
