It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Rylski announce her sudden passing at her home in Orillia on Monday February 10th, 2025, in her 83rd year. Born in Kielce Poland, predeceased by her parents Boleslaw and Julia Białas. Beloved wife of Jan Rylski for 66.5 years. Loving and devoted mother of Roman (Shirley), Kris (Bonnie), Art (Laura). Proud grandmother of Chantelle Nicholl (Greg), Devon (Mary Anne), Anthony (Jessica), Monica Lavoie (Eric), Katie, Elizabeth Sullivan (Jacob), Ashley, Krysten Boyce (Tyler), Bradley, Ben, Sam, and Emma; great grandmother of Josh (Morgan), Claire, Cecelia, Eugene, Raphael, Jeremiah, Kolbe, Laycee, Finley, and Huxley. Dear sister of Edward (Patti), Viktor, Stan (Lidia), Lucy (Bill), and Walter. Barbara and Jan arrived with their family 53 years ago from Poland, building a life together based on her strong faith and love for God. Together raising 3 boys Barb was a hard worker enjoying cooking, baking and sharing her passion for fishing with her family. Barbara’s warm smile and caring heart will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Friday February 21st, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 115 West Street N. Orillia at 1:30 p.m. Celebration of life and reception to follow. Spring interment St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Orillia.
