Obituary of Dawna Rose Shirk

Shirk, Dawna Rose It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dawna at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday March 23rd, 2025 at the age of 68 years. Loving mother of Jason Austin (Emily), Dallas Serwaczak (Andrew) and JR Austin (Dayna). Proud grandmother of Cora (Noah), Charlotte, Eliana, Josiah, Elijah, Kyle, Tyler, Clark, Chloe, Clinton, and great grandmother of Levi. Dear sister of Sharon, Stephen, David, Randy - predeceased, and Dan. Predeceased by her parents Bazel and Margaret Shirk. Dawna will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dawna’s life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Lung Association through the Simcoe Funeral Home.
