Obituary of Mary Jane Carnes

Carnes, Mary Jane Was called home by her Lord and Savior at Mariposa House Hospice in Severn on Monday April 7th, 2025, at the age of 86. Mary was born in Orillia and predeceased by his parents Alin and Verna Townes. Loving mother of Allan Carnes (Cathy), Annette Southorn (James Simpson), and Michelle Carnes. Cherished grandmother of Shaunna (Danny), Andrea (Jason), Greg (Leanne), Christopher ( Amanda), Tanya (Brent), Adam (Courtney), Riley (Holley), Brook-Lynn (Matt) Madison (Blake) and great grandmother of Chase, Brody, Owen, Caleb, Hunter, Marina, Douglas, Nikolaas, Jakob, Katje, Levi, and Isaac. Dear sister of Percy ( Donna) - both predeceased and Wayne ( Christine). Mary will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A Service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, 50 Fittons Rd W in Orillia on Friday April 11th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Mariposa House Hospice or to Living Hope Christian Reformed Church through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E., Orillia (705) 327 0221.
