Obituary of Iveson William George Snider

Snider, Iveson William George June 10th , 1938 ~ June 11th , 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Iveson Snider at his home in Orillia on June 11th , 2025, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Lorna Snider (nee Mathewson) for 67 years. Loving father of Pearl Baron (Sam), Iveson Jr, (Vicky), Alf (Cathy) Lucky, Michael – predeceased, Tim (Kelly), Nick, Luke (Tracey), Scid - predeceased (Debbie), Ab (Dawn), Jack (Jeanette), and Steven. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Nettie - predeceased, Dan - predeceased (Debbie), Roy (Helen) – both predeceased, Irvin (late Gloria), Jim (Bonnie) - both predeceased, Joe (Marion) – both predeceased, Bert, Herbie (Wanda), Mae (Glen), and Terry. Iveson will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East Orillia on Sunday June 15th , 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday June 16th at 11: 00 am followed by Interment at Lake Dalrymple Cemetery.
