Condolences to Michael, Carol, and family on the loss of Marie. Among many fond memories I recall her smile, her laughter, and her passion for home renovations. We were so fortunate to have grown up on Orchard Point with such wonderful mothers, and yours was one in a million.

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Marie. Every Friday night from my childhood was filled with the hope I could “go for coffee” with my grandparents, Al and Marie and the whole Coffee Gang. She was always so warm and was always smiling. She was a great lady.

My deepest condolences to Marie's family. Everything you stated in your obit notice is true about Marie. Marie was definitely a bright light, warm, funny, a great person to be with. I met her and her husband Al (another bright light) through my family, Dave and Kerrie Pellarin and her dear friend Jean Hutt, and always enjoyed meeting up with her. God bless her as she certainly left a huge footprint. Caring thoughts and prayers are with her and her loved ones. May she rest in peace.

I remember both Al and Marie from being at church with them at Christian Missionary Alliance. They both shone with the Love of God. Their hearts were big with kindness, and hospitality. I always enjoyed seeing Marie out and about with my mom; Millie Bylow who is in Heaven rejoicing and singing. My heart feels for each of the children and their families as I know Marie loved her family very much. My prayers are the same as Marie’s and Al that each one receives Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour so that they too can know perfect peace, perfect Love, joy and be reunited with their mom, dad/ grandparents. I send hugs to each one as they continue to shine in the giftings they have been given through Marie and Al. Wow 93! What a great age to finally make it home. Thinking of the song” What a Day that will be when my Jesus I shall see; when I look upon His face the one who saved me by His Grace. When He takes me by the hand and leads me through the promised land, what a day; Glorious Day that will be. “ Love Always Sherrilyn Bylow

I have memories of Aunt Marie and Uncle Al from William St. They used to live up the street with Mrs. Dupery and then moved next door to us. They were always over talking with Mom and Dad. They became very good friends. I remember sitting out the back on the porch brushing Aunt Marie’s hair. She always got one of us girls to do it. She would sit and tell us stories just to keep us brushing her hair. She was a lovely, kind and beautiful lady. She will be missed very much but I will always have a warm spot for her in my heart. My condolences to you and your families.

Dear Family & Friends of Marie Duprey:
I was very saddened to learn of Marie’s passing. I first met Marie & Al when I was the church secretary of the Orillia Alliance Church. We quickly became friends & remained as such even long after I stopped working there. I will always remember Marie as a kind & caring, God fearing lady. Marie will be greatly missed but fondly remembered. She is now in the presence of her Lord & Saviour & her beloved Al. Praying for peace & comfort for family & friends during the difficult days ahead.
With deepest sympathy & many Blessings,
Sharon (Atkinson) Baker

Marie was such a sweet person ...whenever we visited Orillia I tried to make sure I saw Marie... I loved her humor and fun loving spirit....Mom met her working at K-mart and they became fast friends...she loved looking at buying and selling real estate and decorating her homes....we met several of her dogs that she really loved ....she always had great stories to tell....kept me up to date on her children and grand children....and was a warm and loving place to visit....I'm so glad she had 93 years and the world was a better place with her in it....sending my love and condolences to her children, grand children and extended family...Kim Kyle-Letsch

Your mom (and dad) held a special place in our hearts (I'm sure the list of people who would say the same is very long.) Their kindness, joy and down to earth love shone through in every interaction we had with them. I know this must leave a big empty spot in your hearts. I can see both Marie and Al grinning., laughing, calling out to others as they walk the streets of heaven.
May God bring comfort in this time of loss.
