Obituary of Bill Carruthers

Carruthers, William James Passed away at Birchmere Retirement Residence on Monday July 14th 2025 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Wilbee) for 70 years. Loving father of Lori Carruthers, Bonnie Carruthers-predeceased, Gary Carruthers, and Terry Carruthers-predeceased. Proud grandfather of Brett, Ashley, Kyle, Scott, and Sarah Carruthers Great grandfather of Gordon, Ava, and Lincoln Carruthers. Dear brother of Glenn Carruthers; predeceased by Doris, Cecil, and Wesley. Bill will be lovingly remembered by Anna Marie (Vern Bignell), family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E Orillia on Thursday July 17th, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment Victoria Harbour Union Cemetery, Victoria Harbour.
