Obituary of Zibby Malecki

Zbigniew Boleslaw 'Zibby' Malecki Passed away following a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife Iwona Krynski (nee Malczewska). His sons Piotr Malecki, Mike Malecki (Sarah Malecki) and Chris Malecki. His daughters Ania Ainsworth and Kasia Malecki. Predeceased by his infant daughter Agnieszka. Survived by his loving grandchildren Maya and Claire Malecki. He is survived by the mother of his children Izabella Malecki (nee Zagozdon). Also survived by his sister Joanna Pasierbinska. Predeceased by his father Boleslaw Malecki and his mother Maria Malecka (nee Korta). Zibby was born on August 1, 1955 in Krakow, Poland to Boleslaw Malecki and Maria Malecka. Following a change in fate, he immigrated to Canada in 1990, where he lived the remaining 35 years of his life. He studied electronics in Poland. In Canada he spent over 20 years self-employed focusing on his passion for combating harmful electromagnetic waves. His interests were varied, including his love of nature and animals, science fiction, writing poetry, reading and writing books, and in the final months of his life he found a passion for art. A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 277 Park Lawn Rd, Toronto, M8Y 3J7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his name. Though Zibby may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
