Obituary of David Winston Penley

Penley, David Winston Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday August 29th, 2025 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Irene Penley ( nee Camick). Loving father of Thomas Woodrow (Linda), Edwin Woodrow-predeceased, Robert Penley-predeceased (Mary), Cheryl Penley, Douglas Penley (Debbie) and Bruce Penley (Patricia). Loving grandfather of eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. David is predeceased by his 6 siblings. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East Orillia on Wednesday September 3rd, 2025, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery Orillia. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
