Obituary of Hugh Nelson

Nelson, Hugh Donald Ian Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday August 29th, 2025, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Shipstone). Loving father of Bradley Nelson, Jill Nelson and her husband Rodney Masnica. Proud grand father of Riley and Renee. Predeceased by his parents Eustace Daniel Nelson and Rowena Isabelle (nee LeBuffe) siblings Wanita Marshall, Muriel Farrer, Dorothy Rimbault and younger brother Ron. Don will be missed by many family and friends. In Keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. An extra special thank you to Audrey Jodian and Jill Dempsey.
