Obituary of Reg Slade

Slade, Reginald Frederick Reg passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, in Barrie Ontario on Tuesday September 16th, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in Simcoe Ontario, predeceased by his parents Frederick and Gertrude Slade. Beloved husband of Trudy (nee Dragon) celebrating 68 years of marriage, October 30th. Loving father of four children Brian, (Mona), David (Marie), Terry Lynn Brain, (Reg), and Bradley, (Priscillia). Super Proud grandfather of Jessica (Myke Barnetson), and Amanda (Jordan Howard). Super Proud Great grandfather of Myles and Bowie Rose Barnetson, and Josiah and Amira Howard. Dear brother of Harold (Lillian) both predeceased, and Edwin (Flechette) both predeceased. Reg will be deeply missed, by his family, his friends and by his many nieces, nephews. Reg was loved and admired by all of his spiritual family in the congregation. In keeping with Reg’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service with refreshments will take place at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 2nd, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. You can find the location at 519 Laclie Street Orillia, Ontario L3V 4R2.
