Obituary of Dianne Mary MacIver

MacIver, Dianne Mary June 24, 1961 – October 4, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dianne Mary MacIver (nee Gysbers) at her home on October 4, 2025 at the age of 64. Predeceased by her Father John Gysbers and Mother Jane (Adriana) Gysbers. Loving mother to Darren MacIver (Ashley), Braden MacIver and Laura MacIver (Dave). Proud Grandma to Anika, Iris, Zachary, Dylan and Adriana. Dear sister to Peter Gysbers, Hilda Gysbers, Janet Gysbers and Paul Gysbers (Sheila). Dianne was born in Orillia, Ontario and lived in the Orillia area throughout her life. Dianne was a very generous person who had a big heart. She had many friends who would remain near and dear to her always. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Family was very important to Dianne as she would spend most of her time with her siblings often playing a game of cards or enjoying conversation. She touched the lives of many with her warmth and smile. Dianne's memory will live in the hearts of her family, friends, and all that were fortunate to have shared in her life. She will be deeply missed and always remembered. With Dianne's request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will occur on Thursday October 9, 2025 from 1-3 pm at Simcoe Funeral Home in Orillia. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
