Walker, Terence Cardno

Dates (August 23, 1954 – October 14, 2025)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terence Cardno Walker, surrounded by loved ones, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 71.

Son of the late Yolanda and Alexander Walker. Beloved partner of Karen Carter for over 32 years. Loving stepfather to Justin (Amanda) and Lauren (Andrew). Proud grandpa of Etta and Posy, and Papa to Jude and Charlotte, all of whom he absolutely adored.

Deeply missed by his brother Alex (Sheryl) and sisters-in-law Ann (John), Brenda (Jim), Linda and Tracey (Steve).

Fondly remembered by all his extended family and many friends across the country.

The family wishes to extend its heartfelt gratitude to their neighbours in Hawkestone, to Dr. Robert Bickle, and to the visiting Bayshore nurses for their dedicated care and support, allowing Terry to remain at home as long as he was able. Sincere thanks are also offered to the staff at Mariposa House Hospice for their compassionate care provided during his short stay.

A Celebration of Terry's Life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Friday October 24th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mariposa House Hospice are welcomed.
