HOOVER, Marilyn Hilda (nee Cameron) passed peacefully surrounded by family at Spencer House (Orillia) in her 87th year. Born in Beaverton, predeceased by her loving parents James and Hilda Cameron. Beloved wife of the late Roy Hoover. Loving mother of Shelley Reid (Jim) and Travis Hoover. Loving Grama of Charmaine, Tammy (Jamie), Jason (Kat), Jamie (Genna), and Skylar (Michael). Loving Great-Grandmother of Jacob, Sydney, Mikaylla, Samantha, Paige, Maddison, Elizabeth, Abbi-Anne, Reannah, Mackenzie, Jennifer Kaden, Lukah, and Elijah. Great-Great Grandmother of Carter and Elizabeth. Dear sister of Shirley Lee - predeceased. Marilyn will be dearly missed by family and friends. Marilyn will be remembered for her blue eyes, her bingo dabbers, Tim Hortons coffee meetings, and her kind and loving ways. From the bottom of our hearts and with the utmost respect, we would like to send a special thank you to Cheri Woodrow for all that you have done over and above to help Marilyn all these years. She loved you and so do we. We couldn’t have done it without you. Also, a sincere thank you to all staff at Spencer House (Orillia) for their compassion and care. A private family interment will be held at the Stone Church Cemetery, 490 Durham Regional Rd 15 in Beaverton on Monday October 27th, 2025.
