Obituary of Pat Wood

Wood, Dorothy Patricia Passed away peacefully at her home in Orillia on Thursday October 23rd, 2025 at the age of 85. Born in Toronto and predeceased by her parents Vic and Dorothy Forester. Beloved wife of the late Bill Wood. Loving mother of Stephen, Christopher, Geoffrey, and Kimberly. Proud and loving grandmother of Becky, Ashley, David, Rachel, Nigel, Hillary, Chandler, Noah, Alexandra, Jared and great grandmother of Jadelynn, Jace, Colborn, Dominic, McKenna, James, Kane, Blakely, and 1 on the way (due in January). Dear sister of Paul Forester – predeceased. Pat will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E., Orillia on Saturday November 1st, 2025 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
