I knew Brenda from Twin Lakes Secondary School. Five years ago I moved into the same apartment building where she lived. We always stopped to talk in passing. She was a beautiful person! Franklin and Nick, I'm so so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Brenda when i started working at David H Church in early 2000, and she was working at the Tim Horton's right behind the school. Her 2 sons Franklin & Nick introduced me to her one day as I grabbed a coffee, and it was clear how much she loved & cared about them.
Over the time that I was at DHC, it was also clear how much she cared about ALL of the kids there, often phoning me to let me know if there was an issue, if someone needed help, or of she thought a student was getting themselves into trouble. She worked hard, cared for her boys and all of us at DHC. I know she will be missed by family- deepest sympathies to Franklin & Nick from both me and Jeff (Monague). The world is a little less brighter without her caring heart.
