Obituary of Hilda Gowanlock

Gowanlock, Hilda October 10th, 1926 – November 14th, 2025 Passed away peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday November 14th, 2025, at home in Severn with family by her side. Hilda was born in Cereal AB, predeceased by her parents Kornelius and Margaret Heidebrecht. Beloved wife of William (Bill) for 65 years. Loving mother of Leona Gowanlock, and Jim Gowanlock. Cherished grandmother of Laura (Daniel), Erika (Craig), Carlyann (Ryan), and Sawyer (Sarah); great grandmother of Quintessa and Felix, Alannah and Paisley, Ellie and Jack. Predeceased by her siblings Cornelius, John, Jacob, Abraham, Margaret, Henry, Agatha, and Peter. Hilda is lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A private family interment will take place at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at the Christian Fellowship Chapel, 1296 Cambrian Road in Severn, on Saturday November 29, 2025, at 10:30am A reception and lunch will follow.
