Obituary of Hanna Kennedy

Kennedy, Hanna Passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia on Friday, October 31st, 2025, at the age of 95. Hanna was born in Malzhagen, Germany to parents Wilhelm and Maria Reider. Devoted and loving mother of Stephen Kennedy (Kyoko), Karen Kennedy (Ravi Aggarwal), and Peter Kennedy. Cherished grandmother of Sasha, Julian, Rei, Cameron, Aiesha, Jasmin, Tosh, Ian, and Claire. After retiring from a successful real estate career in Toronto, Hanna moved to Orillia. She was active in the community as a member of the Orillia Horticultural Society and was a keen bridge player. Hanna's warm smile, devotion to her family, delicious meals and stunning gardens will be dearly missed. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 28th, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E Orillia. We express our deepest gratitude to Joyce Cameron for the exceptional care she provided to Hanna, along with Dr. Collins and the wonderful nurses, personal support workers and staff at Spencer House.
