Obituary of Janet Wilson Vierin

Vierin, Janet Wilson Passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia on Monday November 24th, 2025, at the age of 93. Janet was born in Toronto and predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth Mitchell. Beloved wife of the late Norman Vierin (1981). Loving mother of Douglas (Eleanor), Karen Inglis, Dan Beck, and the late Colleen. Proud grandmother of Lee-Anne, Christipher, Sherri-Gayle, Andrew, Kristopher, Stuart, Amanda; great grandmother of Camden, Miley, Taylor, James, Emily, Kaylie, Sarah, Chloe, and Zoey. Dear sister of Joyce MacKenzie, Muriel Lenner; predeceased by Robert, Jim (Brenda-survived), Alex, William, Betty and Edward. Janet will be lovingly remembered by her nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces. Dearly missed by her special friend Val Hambly. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Tuesday December 2nd, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held the Salvation Army Church, 157 Coldwater Road W. Orillia on Wednesday December 3rd, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery, Orillia.
