Obituary of George Andrew Rankin

Rankin, George Andrew Passed away peacefully at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto on Monday December 1st, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Orillia, predeceased by his parents Velma and Charles Rankin. Beloved partner of Judy Hawke for 41 years. Loving father of Tina (Chris Hartwell), Doug (Terra), Brad, and the late Angela. Proud grandfather of Riley, Emma, Amelia, Ava, Kyla, Brooke, Nate, and Jaxson; great grandfather of Amirah. Dear brother of Betty, Sandra, Linda, Barb, Patsy and predeceased by Jim, Johnny, Margaret Ann, Charlie, Archie, Howard, and Leona. George will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of George’s life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 6 Kitchener Street Orillia on Saturday December 20th, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. light snack and cash bar will be available.
