I bought my first car from Donnie with my dad a 1973 Firebird Formala and visited the yard with my dad many times. I remember a great dog named Saber a German Shepherd. Donnie always had his cigar.

Expressing our deepest condolences to Donnie's family and friends. We were birthday buddies and he would come by to have dinner at our house. He loved my Mom's spaghetti. My first car at 16 came from his lot. I tagged along on a lot of trips to the wrecking yard with my dad. Donnie came up to our camp for New Years Eve celebrations, always with such great shenanigans that left us all laughing and retelling stories. One of my favorite and most precious memories was Donnie and Magoo coming to my Wedding. Magoo had gone to the salon and had come complete with bow tie and smelling so fresh. Donnie knew that my husband was a jeweller and our amazing gift was the most elegant stand alone jewellery box ever. As my dad, Paul and Donnie grew older things looked different. They were fighting the different ailments of age. I'm absolutely sure they had a conversation that went like this..."Paulie what the f*$k is going on?" "Donnie I'm not sure......but we've got this." And they always did.
I can just imagine the reuniting of these two. Our Lord has no idea, but I absolutely believe they are both "happier than pigs in shit" Give em Shit up there Donnie and Daddio xo

Sincere condolences to Dons family and friends. Don was a one of a kind guy, ever present cigar, always restoring something and his vehicles always had a horse hood ornament in honor of his father who was the horse man. Trucks always had his work number but the after hours was always ???-????
Don was a frequent visitor to Connor Tire and he and my father were friends for years.
RIP Don, you are legend.

There have been so so so many times that Don and Moe spent time together at the house, shop and car shows, flea market telling stories and tails. Drinking home made beer, eating and just enjoying life and laughs. I’m sure they are way up there and rekindling their friendship.
