Alyson, Kendra and Luke. We were so sad hearing about your mother’s passing. Sorry we missed the service yesterday, but the weather did not cooperate.
We have such memories of both your mother and father, and have shared many wonderful occasions together over the years. Of course, Lloyd was my cousin and he was one year younger.
We had a nice visit with Dianne last summer when we met at the Knox reunion in Oro-Medonte . She was looking quite frail, but we thought she would be able to continue on and now that day together has taken on a new dimension. Thinking of you on this sad day.
Love, Mabel and Glen Waterbury

Our Dear Alyson, Kendra, Luke, and families: Diane and Lloyd and family have been among our very closest, most appreciated friends, ever since Alyson was a toddler, when they moved to the Orillia area. Always thinking of others; helping and supporting each one through their/our difficulties. Diane remained pleasant, loving and accepting, as she went through SO much pain and discomfort the past few years. Rest in peace, dear friend….

Dear Alyson, Kendra, Luke and families...our sincerest condolences. I miss your mom very much and always will. I loved that her heart, arms and home were always open to ALL. She had wit, charm, and loved to laugh. We had many heart to heart talks as I'm sure she did with many. I will cherish our time together ❤️ take care of each other as your parents would want you to. We remember the first time we met Diane. We’ve been friends from then on and though we didn’t always live in the same town, we still kept in touch. Diane believed in and kept a good standard in life; one that we knew was costly. She kept true and is now reaping the benefits of her choice. Condolences to the family. They had a good example in their mother.

Mrs Reid was like a second mom to me growing up. For some reason I remember her making huge jars of iced tea, and steeping them on the back porch. She was always so kind and had the best smile.

Diane never failed at showing her love for our family. We loved all the times we were with Lloyd and Diane, in their honeymoon phase of life (I don't think that phase ever ended). Loved our conversations over the years. Positivity with light, love and wisdom. Love Sara (Vandetti)
