Nick, Suzanne Crystal It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Suzanne Crystal Nick on December 24th, 2025 at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her husband Carl of 40 years, she leaves behind her two daughters Heather (Steve), Jennifer (Kyle) and her treasured grandchildren Dion, Hannah, Connor (Payton) and Quentin. Sue will be loved and missed by so many, namely her dear friends from her career in childcare. Especially "her middle daughter" Maria. Mom fought a brave, and sometimes difficult battle with chronic kidney disease, and the nurses and doctors at OSMH that treated her came to be like family. We want to extend our overwhelming gratitude to the staff in both dialysis and ICU for the care you provided Mom in her final days. We will be forever grateful that you cared for her with the most gentle of hands and the biggest of hearts. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be planned for milder weather in happier times, where we can celebrate the life of an amazing woman.
