Obituary of Barbara Joan Miller

Miller, Barbara Joan May 23 1950-January 8 2026 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Joan Miller age 75 on January 8 2026. Barb passed away peacefully at Oak Terrace Long-term Care Home in Orillia Ontario. She is predeceased by her parents George and Joan Miller. A loving sister to Sandra (Gordon) Brown, Linda (David) Holloway, Mike (Cindy) Miller, Darlene (Glen) Adams, Pam (deceased) Joe De Chaves, Patrick (deceased) Miller, Tim Miller. Barb enjoyed being an Aunt to 11 nieces and nephews. She was a Great Aunt to 17 and a Great Great Aunt to 4. Barb was a sincere and gentle soul, who lived life on her terms. Barb had a wonderful sense of humour. Barb drove City Transit for a period of time in London, Barrie and Orillia. Barb enjoyed her trips to PEI and always enjoyed cottaging on Cameron lake and lake Couchiching. Barb volunteered her time at Endaad Native Non-Profit Homes and always enjoyed helping people. The family of Barb extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Wright and the Staff at Oak Terrace for their exceptional care and compassion. As per Barb’s wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time.
