Obituary of Jane Lahay

Lahay, Mary Eileen ‘Jane’ Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday January 12th, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Bracebridge, predeceased by her parents William and Myrtle Russell. Beloved wife of the late Larry Lahay (2016). Loving mother of Don (Lorraine), Dave-predeceased, and Ted (Carol). Cherished grandmother of Alanna (Jonathon), Jeff (Cheryl), Chris, Traci, Craig; great grandmother of Liah, Alexis, Aveh, Colton, Brent, and Henry. Dear sister of Cliff Russell (Claire) - both predeceased, Ruby Page (Doug-predeceased), and Bill Russell-predeceased. Jane will be lovingly remembered by her family friends. A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Saturday January 24th, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
