Mould, William Norman
Bill passed away unexpectedly at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday January 11th, 2026, at the age of 84. Born in Toronto and predeceased by his parents William and Norah Mould. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (nee Porter), and the late Ruth (nee Prophet). Loving father of Trina Wright (Paul), Colleen Moreau (Glen), Billy Mould (Janice Thompson), Glenn Mould, Karen McNeil (Cyril) and Serena Davidson (Brendan). Proud grandfather of Brittany, P.J., Carlin, Michael, Laura, Lexy, Marshall, Connor, Kaelan, Conall, Tory, Liam, and Garrett. Great grandfather of Roger, Launa, Izabella, Autumn, and Addison.
Dear brother of the late Jim Mould (Phyllis), the late Tom Mould (Barb), and Valerie Mould.
Bill was a talkative, humorous, much-loved man. He had a love of camping in Algonquin Park and interacting with wildlife. He appreciated anything with an engine and wheels. After years as a mechanic at Patterson Pontiac he moved on to become a diesel mechanic for Pepsi in Orillia for 40 years before retiring at the age of 79.
There was nothing more important to him than his independence and being able to live out his retirement in his own home in the country surrounded by the trees and wildlife.
Bill maintained his faith and showed resilience especially while coping with the loss of his first wife Marilyn to Type 1 Diabetes and his second wife Ruth to breast cancer.
After losing Ruth, Bill cherished the companionship of his little buddy Wesley for many years riding countless miles in his carefully polished Cadillac.
The Cornerstone Church family and his own family were always cherished in Bill’s heart as a top priority.
Our sincere thanks goes out to Herb Soutar, Fred Fallis, the Beard Family and Care Partners for helping Bill live out his dream life.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends.
