Obituary of Karl Komdeur

Komdeur, Kasper ‘Karl’ Passed away suddenly at his residence in Barrie on Tuesday January 20th, 2026, at the age of 89. Born in the Netherland, predeceased by his parents Jan and Maaike Komdeur. Beloved husband of the late Hennie Komdeur (2019), and Betty Keesman. Loving father of Jeff Komdeur, Ingrid Barrie (Scott), Melissa Komdeur (Tom), Rochelle Komdeur; stepfather of Alicia Petz (Johann), and Clarence Keesman (Patti). Proud Opa of Dallas, Kurtis, and Elizabeth. Dear brother of John (Diny) - both predeceased, Judy DeWeerd - predeceased, Suzanne Groenwold, Lambert Komdeur (Jane), and Diane Van Dyk. Karl will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Tuesday January 27th, 2026, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery Orillia.
