Heather Barnett

Obituary of Heather Yvonne Barnett

In Loving Memory of Heather Barnett (née Croly)
May 7, 1954 – March 23, 2026 Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Heather immigrated to Canada as a young child, where she built a life defined by strength, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. Heather found her one true love, Butch (Alex), and together they created a life filled with loyalty, laughter, and unwavering love. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Scott, and the love of her life. Though she carried that loss in her heart, her love for them never faded. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with them. She leaves behind her daughters, Vanessa, Ashley (Darren), and Tiffany (Kyle), who were the pride of her life. Heather was a proud and loving Grandma to her six grandchildren: Jackson, Jordyn, Zachary, Dylan, Aeden, and Kaley. They were her joy, her heart, and the light of her life. Heather was a dedicated nurse, a loyal and cherished friend, especially to her dear friend Kelly. She was a woman who lived life on her own terms. She was stubborn and bull-headed, could hold a grudge like no other, and had a cheeky spirit that made her unforgettable. She stood her ground, loved fiercely, and protected those she cared about with everything she had. And don’t forget!! She was always right! She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
