Obituary of Carl Douglas Rivers

Rivers, Carl Douglas July 19, 1955 - April 17, 2026 Passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Friday April 17th 2026, at the age of 70. Carl was born in Toronto and predeceased by parents Leo and Lois Rivers. Beloved husband of Ester for 16 years. Loving father of Laura Hobbs (nee Rivers), Michelle Rivers, Katrina Rivers and stepfather of Agustin and Emilio. Cherished grandfather of Justina, Thomas, Greyson, and Maisie. Dear brother of Linda, Roy - predeceased, Cindy, Debbie, Andrew, Howard, and Guy. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E Orillia on Friday April 24th , 2026 from 11:00 until the time of the service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
