de Sousa, Carlos Ribeiro Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday May 6th, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in Portugal, predeceased by his parents Joao and Sofia de Sousa. Beloved husband of Maria Fatima de Sousa for 68 years. Loving father of Maria Tereza de Sousa (Stephen) and Rosa Maria de Groot (Mike). Proud grandfather of Tara, Joe (Tara Lynn), Fatima, Jared (Suzanne), Micheal, Isabella; great grandfather of Jaxson, Ethan, Scarlett, Angel, Trinity, Destiny, Brighton, Blakely, and Kane. Carlos is predeceased by his 7 siblings. Dearly missed by many family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 2172 4th Conc Rd, in Brechin on Wednesday May 13th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with 1 hour of visiting prior.
