Obituary of Larry Kingshott

Kingshott Walter “Larry” Passed away peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice in Severn with family by his side on Thursday May 14th, 2026, at the age of 78. Born in Parry Sound, predeceased by his parents Sidney and Marie Kingshott. Beloved husband of Valerie Kingshott (nee Tennant) for 54 years. Loving father of Sheila Singh and Lori Laperle. Cherished grandfather of Emma, Chloe, and Brock. Dear brother of Art, Gail, and Dianne. Larry spent 48 years as a machinist and dedicated employee of Brockworth Industries. Larry will be remembered as a man of few words, who most enjoyed time spent sharing stories and having some laughs with family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E Orillia on Sunday May 17th, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. A private burial will take place at St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery in Orillia. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Mariposa House Hospice in Larry’s name.
