Obituary of Murray Eugene Carter

Carter, Murray Eugene It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Carter peacefully at his beloved home on Friday August 28th, 2026 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his parents William and Hattie Mae Carter. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Carter (nee Lovelace). Loving father of Elaine (Joe), Alita (Perry), and Lisa (Rob). Cherished grandfather of Ryan -predeceased, Richard, Meagan, Stacey and. Great-grandfather of Evelyn, Kiley, Finlay, Owen, Isabell, and Karsen. Predeceased by his siblings, Sheldon Blenkhorn, Victor Carter , and Gerald Carter. Cherished uncle of Greg (Dana) MacKenzie. Murray will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E Orillia on Sunday September 13th, 2026 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception.
