Obituary of Diane Peacock

PEACOCK, Diane Elizabeth (nee Nickason) Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Thursday, August 20th, 2015 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Douglas Peacock. Dear step-mother to Michael (predeceased), Don and David. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Gertrude Nickason. Grandmother to Josh Peacock (Ottawa) and Brady Peacock (Creston B.C.). Also remembered by Debbie Peacock. Diane was the proud owner of Miller's Ladies Wear and The Bridal Bower in Orillia for many years. She will be missed by friends and family. A service to celebrate Diane's life will be held in the chapel at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Sunday September 20th at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Stephenson Memorial Cemetery, Port Sydney at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
