Rutledge, James Douglas "Jim"

Passed away peacefully at his home in Sebright with his family by his side on Wednesday November 2nd, 2022, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Linda Rutledge (nee Powell) for 54 years. Loving father of Sue Colonna (Nick) and Steve Rutledge (Melissa). Cherished grandfather of Ethan, Emily, Aaron, Maya and Erik. Dear brother of Doreen O’Hare (late Den), Harold Rutledge (Mary) and Marilyn Johnson (Al). Jim loved fishing, playing music and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Wednesday November 9th from 1-3 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
