Obituary of Kathleen Fraser

Fraser: Kathleen (Kay) nee Watson Passed peacefully Monday April 17th 2017 at Champlain Manor Orillia in her 96th year. Kay was born April 12th 1922 to the late Arthur and Sarah (Orr) Watson in Moonstone. Kay was the beloved wife of the late Russell Fraser. Much loved mother of Donald (Danny) predeceased and wife Bonnie, Orillia; Jane and husband Gheri Celin-Montreal, Gregory-Orillia, Mark and Dale-Hamilton. Adored and loving grandmother of Ben Fraser-Bancroft, Valli Fraser-Celin- Guelph, Michael Fraser (Rebecca)-Huntsville, Erin, Mathew and Alex Fraser all of Hamilton. Beloved sister of Gladys Lawlor (Frank), Dorothy Cady (Ken), Ruth Cook (Bruce), Les Watson (Kay) all predeceased. Very lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a great great great niece. Kay was a long time employee of the Huronia Regional Centre. Special thanks to Dr. Kamal and the staff at Champlain Manor. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday April 20th, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Friday April 21st at 1 p.m. Friends and family are invited to join the family for refreshments and fellowship following the service.
