I met Jerry shortly after moving to Orillia in "95. He never hesitated to stop me and say Hi. Spent time with him at the boat shows and other festivals around Orillia. He was also my sponsor to the Orillia Fish and Game Club. Sorry, I am living out of town now and didn't see his notice till today. Jerry will be missed. My condolences and prayers are with you.

I can't remember a time in my life that I didn't know Jerry. He was my dad's friend, my footwear specialist, my mom's political sparring partner, and my Perch Festival mentor (among things). He will be very missed in his many roles, and the good nature he brought to all of them.
