Passed away peacefully at his home in Orillia on Wednesday June 21st, 2017 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Joan McConnell (nee McLean). Loving father of Robert Jr , and George both of Orillia. Proud grandfather of Paul, Amanda, Matthew, And Peyton. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Mildred McConnell. Dear brother of Ted, and Roger; predeceased by his siblings  Jack Jr , Joanne, Larry, and Pat.  Bob will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends.Celebration of Bob’s life will take place at the family home on Saturday July 8th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. A private interment will be held at a later date at St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery, Orillia.
