Thomas was my Grandad the Great I only met him a couple times I am his only granddaughter. When I met him he was a pretty cool grandfather. The only memory I have of him is that we were sitting at the kitchen table having sandwiches and I always have ketchup on my sandwiches so I ask for some and he asked if my meat Was rotten it wasn't but he got me the ketchup anyway. It was brown! I said never mind I'm good. To my family the Brownes and Nelsons.

It was an honour and a priviledge to have know Thomas Grant Browne. I am in awe of his great craftsmanship, his love of family, his intelligence and wit. We had many an interesting discussion about life and nature, he was so sad to loose "his" apple tree. My condolences to family and friends, may he rest in peace.

Condolences to the family from the William Morris Society of Canada of which Thomas Browne had been a member some years ago. In particular, members recall with appreciation, his sharing his church decorating knowledge and experience especially by way of the trips and tours the society took to religious buildings in which he and his family's company had been involved. His contribution to the Society was much appreciated. With sympathy from (Mrs) Dale L. Moore (Treasurer) on behalf of members of the William Morris Society of Canada.
