Merkley, Shirley Ann

Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday July 7th, 2017 in her 84th  year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Hawke, and the late Lloyd Merkley. Loving mother of Penny Doubinin (John-predeceased), Lynn Bayne (Rob Fuscaldo), Bruce Hawke (Tracey Chandler), and Brad Hawke (Kara). Proud grandmother of Courtney, Ryan, Chelsea (Corey), Christopher (Danielle), Hailey, and Abby. Dear great grandmother of Douglas, Olivia, Norah and Owen.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Monday July 10th, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
