Peacefully at the Champlain Manor Orillia on Saturday August 12th 2017 in his 97th year.  Lloyd Scorgie of Orillia, beloved husband of Patrica Ann Collver.   Loving stepfather of Doug Fawcett (Gail), Robert Fawcett (Ilana) and Greg Fawcett.  Loving grandfather of seven grandchildren.  Also remembered by his three sisters, family and friends.  Lloyd is a Veteran of WWII stationed with the Royal Canadian Navy.  He was a longtime member of the Washago Seniors and the Champlain Seniors Men’s Club of Orillia.

A service of celebration and remembrance will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home - 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday September 9th at 11a.m.  Services under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 Orillia will be held at 10:45 a.m.    A reception and time of visitation will follow.  Memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
