Obituary of John David Mayer

It is with sadness that on Tuesday August 8th 2017 John David Mayer died suddenly at the age of 53.

John was born in Sudbury November 7th 1963 and was raised in Naughton. He is survived by his mother Madeline (Herman predeceased), sister, Donna, brothers, Jim (Angela) and Jason (Jasmine), wife Cindy, daughter, Mackenzie and son, Jack.

John enjoyed life to the full. As a youth he was an avid athlete playing hockey, football and swimming.

John was charismatic and had a larger than life presence and will be missed by family and friends. A ‘celebration of life’ will be held in at the Fielding Memorial Park Wednesday August 23rd from 1 pm to 5pm.
