Saddened to hear of Merla’s death and thinking of Bill and her family with much love and sympathy. We only met for a day and in that day I found a loving, although very distant cousin, and a gracious generous friend. You welcomed me into your home, taught me what ice fishing was, tried to make me understand frozen lakes and told me of so many other things Canadian. Sometime we’ll meet again and say ‘Gidday”.
