June 17th, 1943 – February 19th, 2018. Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. Harry Black of Sebright, beloved husband of Joan Black (nee Eldridge) of 54 years. Loving father of Randy Black-predeceased and Sherre Westlake (Ward). Cherished grandfather of Greg Carrick-predeceased, Cortney Moreau (Mike), Jaclyn Black, Shawna Koster (Mike). Randy Black and Tim Black. Loving great grandfather of Riley, Haley, Landon, Graydon and Kohen. Beloved son of Blanche Black and Roy Black-predeceased. Dear brother of Carl-predeceased, Clare (Marilyn), Laura Hawthorne (Ray), Norm, Mary Alma Stafford (Frank), Ross (Paulette), Sharon Dunlop, Walter, Donna (Bob) and Debbie Files (Jim). Dear brother in law of Harvey Eldridge-predeceased (Linda), Raymond Eldridge (Penny), Melvin Eldridge (Norma), Bruce Eldridge (Sherry) and Verna Black (Lewis).
A service to remember and celebrate Harry’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East Orillia on Thursday February 22nd, at 1 p.m. A reception and time of visitation will follow.
