Passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia on Thursday February 22^nd, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Harold Hemsworth for 63 years. Loving mother of Debra Ford (Glenn), Brian Hemsworth (Fran) , Alan Hemsworth, and the late infant Douglas Hemsworth. Cherished grandmother of Brandy (Scott), Aaron  (Trish), Jessica (Brent), and Nathan (Madison); great grandmother of Gavin Scott and Catherine Joyce. Joyce is predeceased by her siblings June, Margaret, Florence, and Alvin.   Joyce will be dearly missed by her family, many friends, and all the wonderful people who cared for her at Spencer House. Everyone will miss her smile.

Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Sunday February 25^th from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. and on Monday February 26^th 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Followed by a reception.
