It is with very deep hearts and sadness we announce the passing of Dennis Ball. Dennis will be remembered by his Services to the Community, Orillia Police Services for 27 ½ yrs and then over to the OPP for 2 ½ yrs until retirement. A man that couldn’t sit still and retiring so young (50) went on to work with AGCO for another 10 yrs. Dennis had an enormous love of music and played in various bands for 40 yrs, last one being the Trilytes. Dennis didn’t always have an easy go but always seemed to get through with his strength and Love for God.

Dennis will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Gail, his 2 Sons David/Lisa (Lee) Ball, and Jeff and Karen Ball; Step Daughter Michelle Clark and Step Son Rob McGowan, and many Grandchildren. Beloved Son In Law to Doris Morrison. He will be missed by his Sister Marlene Johnson and Brother Larry Ball/ Marg.

He had such great support from his Brother In Law Gord Morrison and Dear Friends, Jack and Bonnie Latimer, Dennis and Susan Stotesbury , Gerry and Caroline Shelswell . Dennis will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday March 3rd, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of Dennis’ life will follow at the Stephen Leacock Museum, 50 Museum Drive Orillia. As an expression of Sympathy Memorial Donations may be made to the Hospital For Sick Children or the Hospice Simcoe. Messages of condolences are also welcomed at www.simcoefuneralhome.ca .
