Obituary of Candas Jackleen Maconachie

Maconachie, Candas Jackleen

Passed away at her home in Orillia on Tuesday April 10th, 2018 in her 73rd year.  Much loved mother of Dawn Hipwell (Glen), and Lisa Eaton (Tim). Cherished and proud grama of Jadelyn (Kenneth), and Dylan.   Predeceased by her parents Jack and Bessie Bell of Orillia.

Candas’ family and many friends will fondly remember her incredible kindness and generosity, her love of all animals on this earth, her devotion to her many pets including several rescue animals, and her love of cruising.  She enjoyed a long and dedicated career that was focused on helping others, both as a public school teacher in Simcoe County and as a Registered Nurse in the mental health profession working at both Soldiers Memorial Hospital and the Penetanguishene Mental Health Centre.
