Stewart, James William ‘Jim’

Passed away peacefully at the Roberta Place, Barrie on Thursday June 14^th, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Doreen Stewart (nee McFawn) for 53 years. Loving father of Jim (Amanda), Jeffrey (Trish), Jason (J.J.), and Jayne Stewart. Proud grandfather of Lucas, Robin, Seth, Nick, Emily, Jimmy, Olivia, Sarah, Max, Jed, James, Jill, Tie and Brad; great grandfather of Bentley. Dear brother of Robin, Victoria (Wayne), and the late Wendy. Jim will be dearly missed by his many family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday June 20^th from 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday June 21^st, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Fellowship and refreshment will follow the service. Interment St. George’s Fairvalley Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donation may be made to Jumpstart Charity-Canadian Tire, Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, Connexus Church.
